Apex Embedded Systems LLC Releases Updated STX104 16-bit Analog I/O with One Million Sample FIFO PC/104 Module

MONONA, Wis., Aug. 1, 2018 – Apex Embedded Systems LLC and established leader in manufacturing PC/104 products, has launched an updated revision to its already successful STX104  analog I/O card greatly extending product life cycle.   The STX104 is a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solution used in military, aerospace and industrial applications.   The STX104 Is available now at Apex Embedded Systems’ website.

The STX104 has a large one mega-sample buffer to eliminate interrupt latency issues and enable embedded high-speed transient or burst data recording.  The STX104 has multi-card software legacy compatibility modes, thus offering a drop-in solution for existing developed software and/or drivers.  The STX104 analog inputs are 16-bit low-noise, low-drift and provide wide programmable input voltage ranges.  Maximum data sampling rate is 200,000 samples per second.  Triggering subsystem for complex data collections.  Dual 16-bit analog outputs are available. 

The STX104 has polarized connectors and optional high retention 2 mm connectors for extreme shock and vibe applications.
