Multiple zone temperature control connected via Ethernet and Serial
Here is an example of an I/O card used in a closed loop multiple zone temperature control system. The board contains a wide mix of high power, power supplies and a mix of high speed A/D and low speed 24-bit high resolution A/D. This card has the following features:
- 10/100MHz Ethernet using LWiP TCP/IP stack
- Applications in both bare metal and FreeRTOS
- Network communications using LWIP TCP/IP stack including DHCP
- One serial RS422/485/232 and serial TTL for debug
- NXP Kinetis K64F ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller running at 120MHz
- Input power source can be 5 to 60 VDC and consumes is less than 1 watt
- 8-channels 24-bit ADC for temperature sensors that support thermistors and thermocouples
- 5-channels High speed A/D inputs for pulse counting or voltage data logging
- 4-channel digital inputs protected to 30VDC
- 8-channels power digital outputs (open drain) with high-speed current protection to 2 amps. Each channel capable of 30VDC loads at up to 300mA each or total peak current of 2 amps.
- Overall size: 4.3 x 3.1 inches
- Rackable or stand alone
